Everything about this class had boredom written all over it, but somehow, the academic powers that be have taken mercy on me and have delivered me into the land of plenty.
Okay, that last part my be a bit of a stretch, but so far my summer class has been much better than I was expecting. I was thinking an old woman would be drudging through the history of the United States, and I would have a really hard time staying focused on anything related to the class. Luckily, nearly the opposite has occurred. A fairly young man is teaching and is a really good lecturer. So for the first time since eighth grade, I am not dreading going to history class.
